Mercearia do Bernardino

This caffe is located on the back of a food store near our hotel. the tables have a view from a large window. service was friendly and efficient, the prices were very reasonable and it had a local atmosphere. delicious fish cake and salt code served with...bean and cold beer and followed by coffee. a perfect lunch.

Very interesting place. it is a food business with a restaurant inside. the owners who seem to be a family cook really well. they offer simple and very tasty teller and they also have homemade cakes and great coffee!

After a walk around a few of the wineries in porto we decided not to eat on the water but to go up one of the side streets to find a caffe for lunch. so glad that we managed! mercataria do bernadino is a food business with. a cozy little restaurant on the back. the beautiful dame owners recommended, we try two different cod meals and share them. both were sooo delicious and the coffee after that was also perfect.

This fantastic small market had all the necessary features plus a delicious caffe in the back. probably the best caffe I visited in porto. ideal for breakfast or for sandwich/coffee. the ladies who run it are absolutely beautiful. very recommended here!

When we went to mercario do bernardino for lunch, we were surprised to find a little cafe in the back of a little supermarket! It was really cozy and the owner welcomed us warmly. We had a delicious sandwich and some amazing cod-cakes with salad!...The light summer-redwine that the owner recommended was perfect, so we decided to take two bittles with us from the supermarket! Best lunch on our trip so far! 5/5
