Beira Douro - Vila Nova de Gaia

Me and my friend had a great time here. We were approached on the street by Hernander: the most amazing waiter. He was so nice to us that we couldn’t refuse having a drink there. I had the tasting of Porto wines, with a great explanation provided by Hernander. I recommend this place greatly due to the treatment we received by Hernander.

Boa musica, bom ambiente, bom serviço e muito boa comida! O queijo estava ótimo, assim como o chouriço assado, a francesinha e a lasanha! A acompanhar com um vinho do porto, não podia ser melhor! Gostamos muito da experiência!

Stopped for some starters and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and freshness of the food. Service was excellent and all servers seemed friendly and attentive. Bathrooms were absolutely immaculate. Amazed to discover, when coming to leave a review, that this place was rated less than 4. There's a lot of competition along this strip but Beira Rio deserves a much higher rating!

The food here is decent fairly priced if you’re sat outside, it’s likely you’ll have an excellent view of Porto (being on the Gaia side of town means you look at lovely Porto not Gaia).
