Nostos Restaurant - Vienna

My husband and I came here on date night after hearing good things. We got the octopus and feta watermelon appetizers, both of which were amazing. The feta was fried with sesame seeds and really unique. We also got the braised lamb and the seabass. The lamb was really tender and flavorful, while the seabass was pretty thin and a little dry and fishy, not as thick and buttery as most seabass I?ve had is. The food and vibe were both elegantly traditional and modern at the same time. Fresh ingredients and wonderfully prepared, a justifiably popular place with a friendly atmosphere and excellent service.

We decided to try this wonderful Greek restaurant and can't wait to go back! Even later in the night it was still a very busy place and with the quality of food and service, I can certainly see why! I'll have to get more photos of the delicious food next time. I was only able to get our appetizers: the TZATZIKI and the FETA SAGANAKI. Definitely try those! A little tucked away spot but a clean and resembling architecture similar to Greece. A beautiful ambiance and simple decorations that still give life to restaurant. The food? Superb! Went to Nostos recently after seeing reviews and found it on the best restaurant list. The dinner was awesome. We had a great time. We had swordfish, octopus and for entree we shared rockfish and mini kebab. Definitely worth to try especially when you are already shopping at Tyson Corner : .
