Christie's Carriage House Pub

I ordered my food at the restaurant, but it was barely warm. I asked the server if they had a microwave oven, and she confirmed they did. She took my food to heat it up, but when she brought it back 5 minutes later, it was still not warm enough for my liking. I requested for it to be heated again. After 10 more minutes, my dish was returned, but it was only slightly warmer. The server was very kind and did reduce my bill by 50% as a gesture of goodwill. However, I may not choose to dine at that restaurant again.

I spent about $60 on takeout and ended up throwing out most of it. The 2-piece fish tasted bad and the batter was thick and undercooked, with little fish inside. I ended up giving it to my cat. The jalapeño poppers were flavorless and tough, while the Blue Boys wings were oddly sweet, not resembling hot sauce or blue cheese dip. The blue cheese dip was also too sweet and thin. The only good part was the onion rings I got instead of fries, which were crispy and seasoned. This was my third disappointing experience at this restaurant, as the food tasted like frozen cardboard. Although, the service at the front counter was excellent. Great service, but not worth it for tasteless food.

The service was excellent and the food was delicious.

Christie's is a legendary pub and good for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

I love the idea of a neighbourhood pub Christies has all the makings for a great walk to in the Jubilee Neighbourhood.
