Lazy Dog Restaurant Bar - Vernon Hills

There’s always something amiss here. Today, the bartender complained they were tired, never brought the water I asked for, didn’t give me silverware, and presented my beers out of order.

Expect overpriced, small portions that are overcooked. Can't say anything good about this first and last visit. $16 for 7 small chicken wing sections? Fried chicken dinner is a half breast, sliced thin into 2 pieces and deep fried. Servers don't do soft drink refills. Loud atmosphere and where I was weated had several times an employee come next to my take and start shouting at people in the kitchen right on top of me. Worst dinner experience in quite a long time.

Thankful to have come across this restaurant while we were in Illinois. The cocktails were amazing, the food was delicious, our bartender —Jimmy, is one of a kind! The positive energy that man has blew my mind. We cannot wait to go back!! 10/10

Cynthia was our waitress tonight. She was fabulous with explaining a few things to us. The food was excellent. We both had the pot roast dip which was delicious. Definitely recommend!!
