Lazy Dog - Vernon Hills

We absolutely adore this restaurant! It has become our go-to spot for Sunday brunch. We’re here for dinner tonight, and the food consistently impresses us. We particularly enjoy the breakfast quiche, breakfast burgers, breakfast burrito, and fish and chips, among many other delicious dishes. Their homemade sauces are also a highlight—so much so that we even bought a bottle of their hot sauce to take home! We can’t wait to try out their Naperville location next.

I recently visited this restaurant after enjoying their amazing take-home TV dinner with a family member! The atmosphere is warm and lively. The menu is extensive, featuring a wide variety of flavors. We started with the Chicken Salad Wrap appetizer, which was delightfully fresh and savory. For our main courses, we had the hot and crispy West Coast BBQ pizza sticks and an unforgettable juicy Bison Burger, accompanied by their unique Umami Fries. I can’t wait to return and explore more of the endless options they have to offer!

Really great experience! I definitely want to try more dishes. I had the sweet ribs and umami fries, along with a Bloody Mary (I wish it had bacon, but it was good and spicy nonetheless). My friend ordered fish and chips and loved everything! The prices were reasonable too. I wasn't a huge fan of the ribs, but I definitely want to try their wings next time!

Love this place! The food is amazing and so delicious - from Calamari to beetballs. Her ginger beer is also Yummm. It is pet-friendly with charming pet menu. The staff is really amazing and we love eating here. The service is a little slow because the tables are not cleaned, but the food and the staff make it worth waiting.

We had Lisa as a server, and she was great! She answered all of my questions and when they were out of a drink we wanted, she offered a great alternative that really hit the spot. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was cozy by the fireplace.
