Marixx - VENTIMIGLIA

Incredible dining experience. The food, service and ambience were unforgettable. Would highly recommend to anyone paying a visit to Ventimiglia.

The offering of this restaurant follows a precise idea: creating elaborate dishes mixing traditional Italian food and inventive fnding in terms of savours and textures. Execution is very careful and the food is presented in a pleasing way to the eye. Portions are small but it is not a restaurant that leaves you unsatisfied or hungry, since they are so full of flavour and a certain wow factor. A special bonus to the bread! Good choice of wines, mostly Italians. Service is attentive and reasonably quick for a restaurant that does not aim at speed in its experience. The setting, right on the dock of the new port of Ventimiglia, provides for a quiet and relaxing atmoshere (save for neighbouring restaurant 's live music on Sundays). Finally, the price: not cheap for sure, not overly expensive for the quality offered and quite less expensive than similar restaurants nearby (or in France/Monaco).

I made this reservation for my friends. I asked you to serve them surprise dessert with their name. But you served Dessert's first birthday on the next table. So, he thought it was for his wife and she took a movie with his phone. But it's not for his wife... His wife felt that he asked surprising dessert for her because he filmed the birthday Dessert of his next table. It's not a perfect surprise. It's a shame. And they had written their name wrong. It's too bad. But foods were very delicious He explained this comment for your restaurant!

Really great restaurant. The food was fresh and delicious. Every detail is thought through stylish uniform of the staff, design, open kitchen, the plates. The service was incredible. Definitely worth multiple visits.
