China Jade - Venice

I've never written a negative review before, but my experience at this restaurant was far from pleasant. I ordered both appetizers and a main course, and unfortunately, it made me feel ill. It tasted like the oil hadn't been changed in months.

The Hawaii 50 dish was mostly made up of broccoli, with only small amounts of the meat and seafood that we expected. My wife ordered the crab rangoon, and it actually made her feel sick. The real disaster, however, was the large order of vegetable fritters, which had almost no vegetables in them! Just a note: there's another restaurant in Venice serving these dishes that is much better and at the same price. What a disappointment! Yuk!

I had a terrible dining experience and won’t be ordering from this place again. It’s clear they don’t pay attention to the quality of their ingredients or their work environment. The food was far from authentic and didn’t taste like anything I’ve enjoyed at other Chinese restaurants over the years. They are also very stingy with portion sizes. I recommend avoiding this restaurant; you’ll likely be disappointed.

The temperature of the restaurant on a 90° day was about 78-80 inside. I wouldn't enjoy eating a hot meal in her dining room. the service was fast for a call ahead suppe and eiroll. I wouldn't think the pork roll was a big part of a spore? eiroll- totally no booze. the hot and acidic suppe is hot, but not so much sour. in other restaurants I received this suppe with a mix of vegetables that add textures and taste. mushrooms and an unknown wobbles that looked nice were found. I thought it was missing the taste it deserved. I probably wouldn't return for food taste. I'll say my eating was extremely hot, so I don't do that it was fresh. Maybe others are good from here to get out.

Hard to call it a Chinese Restaurant, as everyone working there when I picked up my order was a white highschool kid. Worn, old Help Wanted sign on the door too. Big red flags for anyone who's worked in restaurants. My order was terrible all-around, I sent my son back to return it for a refund.
