Belkis Cuban Deli - Venice

Absolutely, I was right! A Cuban sandwich was just the boost I needed in the midst of my busy workday. Thank you for the excellent service, as always. I will always recommend Belki’s at the Corner Store on the island as having the best food in Venice, FL.

I was visiting from out of town and had a craving for a Cuban sandwich. When I walked in, the husband and wife who run the place were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They recommended we try a platter along with the Cuban sandwich, and wow, what a fantastic meal! I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in the area!

I had a pleasant conversation with the manager. We recently relocated from Miami, and we discussed the differences in empanadas. As for parking, since it's located at a gas station/convenience store, there are no issues finding a spot.

Altho they were closed, they saw how ridiculously excited I was to try their food, as I live in PA and authentic Cuban is not readily available where we live. They were lovely enough to feed us while we waited and I left with 2 bags of food. Cuban sandwich was out of this world!! Melt in your mouth pulled pork. This is the standard by which all Cuban sandwiches should be measured from now on. Rice and beans and plantains all just delicious. Belki clearly cooks with love and you’re eating the food of generations of her family. Go here. A lot! You won’t regret it.

Exceptional food and very friendly people. Really enjoyed being there. We will be there many more times.
