Countryside Pizza Grill - Veneta

Charming family-owned restaurant! I can’t wait to bring my son next time. My partner and I visited yesterday. The food was incredible! I've never tasted such tender finger steaks, and the house-made tartar sauce was fantastic. It paired perfectly with their cod fish and chips! I loved everything about the meal!

This morning, the restaurant wasn’t busy. The staff took our order at the same time as a larger group of eight. They should have prioritized our smaller order; it wouldn’t have made much difference to the larger group's wait time. After half an hour, I asked if our order had even been started, and when I didn’t get a response, we decided to leave. The service from the weekend cook was bafflingly slow. Having worked in restaurants and managed them before, I believe it's important to work more efficiently!

We recently relocated to the area and were excited to try this restaurant. While the food is generally fantastic, the service has been consistently disappointing. We've returned several times hoping for a better experience, especially since dining options in the vicinity are limited, but we've been let down each time. On one occasion, we were forgotten by our waitress while seated outside, and when we addressed it, we were met with an attitude instead of an apology. Most recently, my partner's meal—a hot prime rib sandwich—arrived completely cold. We requested to have it removed from our bill and chose to leave. Other patrons around us were also frustrated as they waited too long for their drink orders and food delivery. I understand that times are tough, but the staff really needs to improve their treatment of customers. It’s disheartening to witness. I sincerely hope they can turn things around because, as I mentioned, we genuinely enjoy the food.

This place is great. It has all kinds of options until food goes. Your pizza is great. I got the loaded cookies and Gravy that were really good, but the cookies were really tight. The service is usually good, but they are busy. Be ready to stay for a while when you eat. I'm sure I'll protect this facility.

Very good pizza and a great daily food special. Taco Tuesday for $1.50 sounds right. Half price taco pizza when you dine in. They have Boneyard on tap if that's important to you also. Another place I hate to mention so it doesn't get overrun.
