Excellent search. it was recommended to go to amantha by living in varkala. eating was very affordable and cooked like a local, so delicious and full of taste. chill vibes and beautiful to escape from the very western, overpriced caffes and restaurants. owners are also beautiful. we ordered veg thali, veg pakora and salted leti, all were fantastic and better than most they find at half price. easy to find from the water way, they are looking for the 3rd eye yoga sign, and go past the track, take them a left when they come to the road and it will be at the crossing about 100 meters away or so. if you are eating a day!

Great place! eating is so good, local and very cheap masala dosa, thali, biryani! they go in and feel immediately the loves that place! the eating is cooked with much love and smiling faces of the indebted! when they go in them, they find again and again because this is a home and a family!

If you want to pay a fair price for authentic Kerala food, you need to come to Amantha's. Super Thali in all its versions (Veg, Fish and Chicken), this woman definitely knows how to cook with love and taste. Masala chicken is also amazing... and the vibes of the place cannot be better. We love you, Amantha! You have been an important part of my experience in Varkala <3
