Excellent on all levels. Great selection of ultra fresh crustacean and seashell. Reasonably priced considering the quality. Wine selection excellent too. Don’t miss a night cap at the bar next door run by the same owner. Great chat and fun too: but don’t mention you support Genoa F.C...you will be teased big time and you’ll get a drink only if begging...Cesena still safer, even better Sampdoria
A cloudy saturday evening of September. Nice atmosphere (outdoor) but slow service (especially for kids). Quality raw-fished based dishes (carpaccio di gamberi viola di Santa Margherita, carpaccio di ricciola) and well cooked Tagliolini ai ricci and Baccalà. Desserts may vary: the crema catalana was overcooked, but the Crostata alla marmellata di fichi e noci was excellent. French oysters and French plateaux of mussels are quite expensive: we did not try them. It's still worth going to Nice instead.
