Good soups, tasty sandwiches and candy tow one to the next fight for superiority on the market, or on the bus or grocery store.
Warning!!! Their latte's are addictive and the Barista's happy personalities are contagious!! My 2 co-workers and I frequent this coffee shop about 3 times a week to help us wake up before we begin sitting at our boring desk jobs. Every time I go in here, the girls are smiling and always friendly. They are very fast even if their is a line up. I have tried to switch up the different types of lattes and they make it perfectly EVERY TIME. Honestly, we've never had a bad latte from here. It's been almost 2 years. Their simple Vanilla lattes are warm and feel like home sweet home. We also get their breakfast bagels once in a while. The only thing they could improve on are their muffins... but I am a muffin snob. So 5 stars for you guys!
I wanted to get a good breakfast while stayed for a weekend in Vancouver. This was a great corner coffee place, with very friendly staff, good coffee and nice vegetarian wrap for breakfast. Great atmosphere, people reading papers, and good background music. I will be back.
I feel very comfortable coming here. For breakfast, lunch or a light evening supper, this place is cosy and a good place to spend some time, alone or with friends. Great atmosphere, kind staff and delicious food welcome patrons, both regular and new. Soups are excellent and there are some unique selections. Hot chocolate and tea are recommended. I don't drink it, but friends say the coffee is very good. Many who work locally recommend this place for breakfast. There are a few tables outside, along with ubiquitous water bowls for your pooch.
Extremely unlived food preparation at Wicks Cafe. Today I saw one of the food prepper servers, a younger guy stepped on the sink behind the food prep counter, blow a massive watt of slime directly into his hands, rub the snot into his hands, then just rinse easily with water. No soap. The other servers saw this and just had a good laugh. I have also seen server use foods that fell on the floor during food preparation. Disgusting
