Vera's Burger Shack - Vancouver

I was out for a walk and came across this small restaurant while visiting Vancouver and enjoyed a great burger and fries. There are specials from Monday to Friday and the special for Wednesday that I enjoyed was the BBQ burger--single patty, white cheddar cheese, crispy bacon, fried onions and BBQ sauce. So tasty! The fries were just the way I like them--not soggy-but crisp. The wait staff were friendly and seemed to really enjoy their jobs as everyone had a smile. Would definitely return.

You can go to the 'boutique burger joints', like Roamers... but if you just want a really good burger, at a decent price, then there's no place better than Vera's.The best part is; there are multiple locations, all over the Lower Mainland, so they are easy to find.

I've been a burger guy my entire life. In our two years in Vancouver Vera's on Main is our go-to burger place. The choices of add-ons provides great variety, the burgers aren't too big or too small, and the fries are so good they often disappear before I have my first burger bite. The place is Main Street cheap-and-cheerful and the owner and his team are always welcoming and friendly. Not the cheapest place to grab a burger but quality counts for me and the combos and daily specials provide a value option.

This was one of those random, "happy I stumbled across it" kind of discoveries. These burgers are quite possibly the greatest burgers I have ever had anywhere, and that's counting a LOT of burgers. Huge, greasy, sloppy, stacked towers of deliciousness made from FRESH marinated beef..... YUMM! I've dreamed of these burgers ever since. Can you open a franchise in Florida, please?

One of the better quick meal restaurants at Vancouver airport. Food is great, portions are huge (Breakfast Burrito) good service and well worth the money. My new go to restaurant for at quick meal at YVR!
