They make it fresh and took some time to serve but then the burger was good. Hashbrown was decent when compared to other places. It was totally empty when i visited at around 8:30am
Just had the Chipotle BBQ Bacon Melt with some Onion Rings. Made it a 'bigger ' 6oz burger and put a couple onion rings in yummy! (Very messy, but that 's alright because the paper wrap it came in was able to keep most of that mess off my hands)<br/ <br/ The interior is clean and tidy, the food came out hot and exactly what I ordered. The only thing that bugs me is the price; a burger combo here can be pretty close to a cost of a burger in any restaurant/pub and that has table service.... I can see why it 's not often busy here, I 'd probably choose from the numerous restaurants and pubs in downtown for the ambience, service, and alcohols too.
After having a delicious burger at White Spot, later that week I decided to try out White Spot 's 'sister brand ', Triple O 's (700 Hamilton Street, Vancouver). This Triple O 's is located on the ground floor of the CBC building at the corner of Georgia and Hamilton Streets. Despite being in an urban downtown area, the Triple O 's is actually a spacious 50 's or 60 's diner inspired inside with a service counter at one end. Add to this a condiment and drink counter along another side the entire interior set up is like a McDonald 's forced to combine operations with a diner.
This is by far the best burger a franchise can offer in Vancouver. It comes next to only one small shop in Lonsdale Quay but that's a different story. The place is spotless, convenient, spacious, and friendly. In the span of multiple visits, we tried the burger, the chicken burger, the fish burger, the fries, the sweet potatoes, the garlic Parmesan fries, the milk shakes, you name it. Nothing disappoints. It's not cheap but not expensive either. The menu choices are wonderful yet not overwhelming. Greatly recommend it.
We shared some conciglie, they called it lasagne, and they rasted good. The beer was good also. Staff is friendly. Staff is doing a lot of cleaning to keep the place spotless, we like that very much and everything was shining!
