The Locus Cafe - Vancouver

The Mediterranean Casarecce with Seared Halloumi has to be one of Locus' best dishes. If you like the Mediterranean style, this is the dish to order. Good pasta, lots of veggie things, and topped off by the halloumi. I'll be back for more.

Portions were really small for the price compared to similar restaurants especially the hash browns, omelet was so so

My Smoked Wild Sockeye Salmon Benny was very disappointing. Not only did the dill hollondaise have no dill, but there was hardly any of it. The spinach was not cooked or prepared in any way. The salmon was dry and had little flavour. I would prefer lox. There were so few ingredients on the benny that they didnt even cover the muffin. The potatoes were nothing special. At least the poached eggs were cooked well. I regret ordering.

My mom and I have been going to Locus for brunch for at least a decade now. Fred is amazing, the food is FANTASTIC, and the staff is great! It's the only place I recommend to people for any meal dinner is just as awesome as the brunch!

This restaurant is amazing. The ratatouille is outstanding, as well as the halibut and the chicken. If you haven't dined here yet, you are missing out on some of the best food in the area. The Locus has consistently impressed for over 20 years. The service is excellent, the decor is stylish, and the food is delicious.
