The Diamond - Vancouver

What a fantastic restaurant! The cocktails were absolutely incredible, and the Charcuterie Board was delicious. The service was exceptional, with a special shout out to the amazing bar manager, Amanda. We all hope to find another gem like this place soon!

The Diamond was a major letdown, failing to meet even the most basic expectations of good service and honesty. Despite arriving before other groups, I had to wait for a seat while the staff ignored me and blatantly lied about others being there first. One of the biggest issues was their confusing and unfair policy regarding seating groups of less than three people. They didn't even bother to notify us when it was our turn to be seated, which not only inconvenienced us but also went against common dining etiquette. Overall, the poor service, lack of honesty, and unfair policies left a bad taste in my mouth. I wouldn't recommend The Diamond until they make significant improvements to their customer service.

We had an excellent waitress who struck a perfect balance between attentiveness and giving us space. When our drinks were running low, she noticed and made sure to check in with us. Other staff members were also attentive, constantly topping up our water. Overall, the service was excellent.

The Diamond has been recommanded by a French friend when she heard that we were traveling to Vancouver. She went at this bar 5 years ago and she told me : go there, cocktails are so good ! So we went with my boyfriend. The district reminds us France and it was very cute, the food and especially the Fromage and Charcuterie Planche was soooo good ! The cocktails were absolutely divine and the place so chill. Thank you to the staff who were cool too !

We had a couple drinks at the Hideaway bar inside the Diamond. The bartender customized our drinks and they were really good! Ambience was so cozy. We even had shots on the house!
