The Change Dining & Bar - Vancouver

The Change is very special for Chinese-food lovers who are coeliac because about 70% of their menu is gluten free.

Fusion confusionLet me try to correct their inaccurate 4.5* average. I'll start with the positives, because there are some.

It was the company of this get together which meant a lot to meOne of the 3 major holiday parties that I am attending this year.

Such a beautiful location! Several reasturants have tried to make a go of it here but seldom last beyond 2 yrs. Pity as it is such a great location. The food at the Change was ok but honestly I did not find it had a lot of flavour. Service was a bit erratic but friendly.

My wife and I are big Fans of oriental food so when we happened across The Change while strolling along the waterfront we dived in for a much needed snack.The staff were incredibly friendly and genuinely keen to please. The menu is presented on iPads and the view of the harbour, North Vancouver and the mountains beyond is breath taking.As is the food. The chicken noodle soup was a masterpiece, as was my wife's won ton soup. We also had some gyozas, beautifully steamed and fried on one side so they have a crispy bite to them. Melt in the mouth delicious.Prices are a steal for the quality of the food and the location.
