Am fost atât de încântați să încercăm Captain’s Boil și, în general, am fost dezamăgiți în mod masiv Serviciul a fost foarte lent și nu ne-a fost de mare ajutor în timp ce am navigat prin meniu. Apa a fost servită în pahare de apă adecvate, totuși au fost asigurate pahare de plastic pentru ulciorul de sangrie care era Orice condiment care a fost pus pe crabul regelui a fost dezgustător. The freshest and sweetest tasting seafood that is unmatched by anywhere else. The captains mix sauce heightened the seafood. The shrimps, mussels, squid and especially the lobster was tender and juicy and well coated in the delicious sauce. The corn andpotatoes add to the boil and help keep you full. Definitely worth the trip to Captains Boil. Wash it down with some Soju for theultimate experience.
Good selection of seafood dishes, and it 's an ideal place for larger groups. We had the luxury for 2 platter and it was very tasty, however, the value for money was okay, but not the best. Good service, good taste, bibs and gloves necessary, howeverit 's a little pricey.
Went there with my family and we were impressed. Staff was friendly and food was good. We were seated right away and waitress helped us with the menu. She answered our questions and familiarized us with their menu and the way they cook. We orderedPirate's feast with a lobster. Food came in bags, one bag of mussels, one bag of clams and the lobster, We got paper bibs,gloves and scissors to use. It was messy but the food was very tasty and we enjoyed it.
Yet another adventure amidst Vancouver?s culinary scene! If you are craving seafood , and don?t mind getting your hands dirty (pun not intended) head to this place. There were three of us and we had ordered the Pirate? s Feast and we needed to-gocontainers! You can have mussels, lobsters, and crabs cooked in a sauce of your choice. There are three available. The Captain?s Boil sauce turned out to be a favorite and went very well with mussels. The potatoes served as sides were buttery and hearty.Making your way through that big platter can be daunting but you get aprons, scissors, claw crackers, and gloves to help youout. Themed interiors and staff who would always check if we had everything we needed , give this place a special atmosphere.
Well they say that it was a lobster poutine but i didnt found a single piece on my poutine and just feel disapointed about that the taste was good but for the price I was hoping to have at least a little but nothing just a nice sauce with a seafood taste.
