Contribuiți la feedbackWe stayed at the Four Seasons next door and were in search of a light, affordable breakfast, so we decided to try this place in the large atrium-like structure in Pacific Centre on the ground level. The restaurant was bright and inviting, with a good selection of pastries and some heartier breakfast options. They also served coffee, which was all my wife needed. I tried the egg and ham muffin, which was fresh and tasty, similar in quality to something you might get at McDonalds. My wife enjoyed a Mocha and a Yogurt cup. We relaxed in the sunshine streaming through the windows as we enjoyed our simple breakfast. It wasn't a gourmet experience, but it was decent and reasonably priced for downtown Vancouver.
The atmosphere is the standout feature of this restaurant. It is cozy and inviting, with attentive staff that are great for small conversations with friends and colleagues. However, the coffee is just average. During my last visit, I opted for chai tea instead of coffee.
This coffee shop is in a location I would think most would envy (inside Pacific Centre, street level along W. Georgia), but the coffee, food, and pretty much everything is sub par. I'm thinking they're still in business only because of foot traffic that naturally...goes by there. This place could be better managed and serviced. What a waste of a golden opportunity.
The staff was friendly when I visited in the morning. They had a good selection of sweet and savory sides. However, the almond croissant was a bit stale, but the cheese scone was decent. The coffee lacked flavor, but the freshly made tea was enjoyable. Overall, I don't plan on returning to this restaurant.
This is the worst cup of coffee I've ever had. I am not trying to talk bad about any place but it is unacceptable for customers to some to this place and spend some dollars on a disgusting coffee. The atmosfere is not appealing but...I wanted to have a latte and a bagel for breakfast. The counter that has the sugar and stuff was dirty, the service is regular, the lady that took my order was alone and checking stuff all over the place. I chose a latte and blueberry muffin. The latte barely had milk and the taste was as if the coffee were kept for years in a bag, old, acid, strong. The blueberry tasted like a plain bagel, not even sweet, this was the cherry on the cake. For the entire meal I paid and it was a waste of money. Honestly, do not come to this place.
