Super Great Pizza - Vancouver

I absolutely adore this pizza joint. The only reason I'll stop at Joyce station is to pick up a few slices of their amazing pizza. It's conveniently located right outside the station and the taste is out of this world! A must-try for anyone who loves pizza.

Cheap, fast Skytrain pizza slices. If you're getting off or on the Skytrain at Joyce station and want some cheap slices, Super Great Pizza is right there BAM! outside the entrance on Van Ness. For the rock bottom price Dec. 2012) of $4.50 for two slices and a pop, you get what you pay for.<br/ <br/ The crust tastes pre made from a crust stamping mill somewhere. It has the texture of one of those foam rubber mattress pads, but it tastes better. I think. I never ate a mattress pad. Sauce has a little spiciness, doesn't taste tinny. Adequate amount of cheese on top. Super Great does lots of business sometimes there's a line so they turn over pizzas fast. Meaning there's a decent chance your slice wasn't sitting forever under a lamp. And they pump out a lot of varieties which are on display in the shop window. The vibe of Super Great reminds me of Uncle Fatih's outside the Skytrain at Commercial and Broadway.

From the outside, they look like any old pizza place, they have all the pizza they are selling in slices near the window, and 2 rows of seats. Because of how long this place's been running, it seems like the painting is due for a new coat. In general, the outside does not look attractive. However, as soon as you look past the outside, you will see that there's always people inside.<br/ There are not many seats here so I would recommend anybody who would like to sit and enjoy their pizza to take it for to go. The prices of the pizza are pretty good,

REALLY good pizza, loved that it’s open late. Got a MASSIVE pizza for a great price and we were able to mix and match the flavour of any of the pieces.
