Slice of chicago - Vancouver

The pizza was great, but as I did not know that they had no proper restaurant structure, when I said I would eat there, they had to pack napkin, cardboard plate and had no straws. That is, ask and take somewhere that the pizza "deep dish" is really good.

After coming back from my trip to Chicago I was having cravings for the deep dish style pizzas that I got to enjoy there. I was working a late shift and my colleagues and I were talking about how pizza in Chicago rocks. I happened to find out that there's a place that does Chicago Deep Dish pizza and so we ordered from this place hoping for something half as decent as we all enjoyed in Chicago. We were disappointed. The ingredients were bland, the crust was soggy and undercooked, and the mozzarella they used had this runny velveta type of consistency with a synthetic type taste to it. Whoever runs this place should actually consider taking a trip to Chicago and tasting the real thing from a few different places so that they can get an idea what Chicago pizza really is. Chicago should not be the name in it if the right ingredients and flavors aren't even being used. I don't expect it to be perfect, but an attempt should be made!

Great pizza! Ordered online for two larges and they came uber fast! There are lots of options to choose from and two types of preparations (deep dish, which is slow and the normal) which helps us change it up a bit and not feel like we are ordering pizza all the time. The pizza is made to go so it tastes rather fresh and the people are rather generous with the toppings!

Having never tried Chicago deep dish pizza before, I was a little nervous when I first placed an order. That feeling didn’t last very long though - when the actual pizza came we were so hungry that we nearly gobbled it down. The pizza looked more like a pie than anything, and had a delicious sauce. We did have to wait a while for the pizza to arrive (supposedly it takes longer to make)? so word of caution before ordering from here.

I've never had such good Chicago pizza outside of Chicago until now. The small $17 deep-dish pizza we got was soo good we repeated it for the game (Canucks were playing). The extra spinach topping was delicious and super filling, not to mention the crust. Oh mann. Anyone who has not tried it or dislikes it should give it a second try. Shout out to the person who was on the line with us for being super polite despite of the fact that we messed up with the address.
