Simit Bakery - Vancouver

Um… how to start to review this a odd place?1: the bench is broken at the end of my side, using unmatched size cushion to cover.2: self service, they not clean the table at all. So strange food will be left from the previous customers.3: no capacity to large crowds.. take out much likely. They should find a good size in the future.4: no washroom5: Main entrance door small not for wheelchair.6: my Turkish coffee doesn’t satisfy me. 1/3 coffee grounds inside.. maybe that is how they drink, size cup as pinky finger..)7: Return ? Not considered.

Love the atmosphere here, even though you would hear the noisy traffic on and off from the ongoing construction on E Broadway. The Turkish coffee, tea and pastries offered from this little unique cafe always got me there.

Everything I've had at this bakery has been absolutely fantastic! I regularly come by for a Bourek for lunch or a snack. Their Baklava has to be the best in the lower mainland. Keep up the good work Simit Bakery!

We were in Vancouver over the long weekend and stopped in at this bakery. I was very impressed with the fresh pastries, quick and friendly service. Their Turkish coffee was delicious and so was the desserts. I highly recommend this bakery to anyone who wants and enjoys delicious food.

A delightful and delicious find this afternoon. We had the spinach and feta bourek and a bagel sandwich, then finished up with baklava. And then had to try the rice pudding and an iced coffee. All were wonderful. Very cozy atmosphere and friendly attentive service.
