Minato Japanese Restaurant - Vancouver

I was there for a minute. I order dynamite roll and lava roll. The prawn tempura in the dynamite roll was cold, which shows that this was not freshly prepared. I also saw the avocado pieces there with a lot of signs of massive aging. After this meal, I didn't feel very good. This is something that has rarely happened after eating in a restaurant.

Great sushi, reasonable prices. Extensive menu. Try the spicy roll and lava roll. Reliable, good service, good food.

Minato is consistent in her sushi quality and prices. It is a good, friendly family restaurant on Vancouver's west side. There are always good specialties offered. Efficient and competent servers.

I always order the same core pieces here: Lachs sashimi, Toro Sushi and Negitoro roll it is. Try it out and their exotic roles are also really worth trying like the lava roll. It is really cheap and it is a local hot spot among people who work and live in the area. The ambience is nothing special, but the food is a home trip for the prices!

Our server was very congenial and professional. We had Bentos which were all right could have been better. Parking out front is convenient.
