Contribuiți la feedbackI Wanted badly to try this place.. I went by myself in the rain! Let me start with the decor, the interior is fun in that it resembles a small little taco joint in California and the ones in MEXICO. The colors, the use of an old iron railing/ fence as a decorative item was the best part it made me smile actually.. Usually you see that on the windows! haha. Now service EXCELLENT... there are only a handful of tables so getting good service should not be difficult. My waitress was very friendly and helpful. The tacos I tried were: The Cheeseburger ( the best flavor and texture) The cod one, ( not very flavorful but the cod was juicy) The real surprise was the Deep fried Cauliflower one ( seriously delicious with a hint of sweetness) I prefer Corn tacos ( hard crunchy) to soft tortillas as they just ripped and all the inside fell out. If you use a soft tortilla the best ones are when they are slightly sticky and warm not floury. The margaritas are on the rocks, I had two classic lime ones and the first was better made my the waitress and the second was too sweet and made by the bartender. Both were served in a small cocktail glass with huge chunks of ice... not enjoyable, barely got 5 slurps out of it and at $9 each the value was poor. My recommendation would be to serve them in traditional Margaritas glasses which always makes people happy and makes you feel like you are in Mexico! Served n the rocks should not be literally be blocks of ice instead they should be served with small lightly blended ice ( not slushy). Tacos are $6 each so if you have one ( they are very small) maybe the value is ok? but you need 3 to fill you up so you are going to pay $18 plus drinks taxes and tip.. so my bill was $50 and for three little tacos and two tiny drinks.. I was not satisfied. I was still hungry and thirsty and out of $50. Considering I just had a first class meal a few nights before for $16 and beautiful wines for $10 a glass THIS meal fell short value wise. There is another taco place 3 mins away where the prices for tacos are HALF the price and they offer a trio of 3 tacos for $9.00 THAT is what I think Lucky taco should offer trios for less money~
Such a cute little spot just off the main drag! The margaritas for Marg Monday were spot on, fully value. I got the beef and fish taco, both excellent full of flavour. The server was friendly and the ambiance was so cozy with the authentic lights and decor. I will return :
We had excellent excellent service! Even put together a cute birthday churro for my partner and knew exactly how to help me out with my first mezcal tasting. Also love that almost the whole menu is gluten free!
This is a very cool place. Great happy hour options. I went here before heading down to the Bard on the Beach, which is about a 15 min scenic walk away. The servers were attentive and served us in a timely manner. If you're lucky, there's free parking here and there around the neighbourhood. Come earlier than you expect, as it can get a tad busy.
Loved the food and the drinks were awesome. Our server was a gem and the service was excellent. Came for the happy hour and was not disappointed I found the music a tad loud making conversation a bit tough but everything else was amazing.
