Like Dan below, I've also been going to this neighborhood pho place for the past 20 years. But I had to stop 10 years ago as the soup quality went significantly downhill then. What were they thinking, that we customers were so ignorant as not to notice? Fast forward to the past few months and after hearing from a friend re-recommending it, I paid it a visit not without some trepidation. And after a few repeat visits, I can safely say that the soup recipe is back to the glorious days that I used to love. Just ignore the short haired waitress who is still terse and lippy.
The restaurant has launched a new menu and redesigned its interior. The addition of new booth seats and tables has given the place a completely different look. Despite the changes, my favorite dish, Chicken Fried Rice, remains delicious and the bubble waffle is a must-try. Snacks like Spring Rolls and Chicken Wings are also highly recommended. The new lighting creates a romantic ambiance, perfect for couples dining in. It's worth mentioning that this restaurant has been in business for almost 30 years now.
Dinner on a Sunday. Place wasn't too busy and service was prompt and helpful.<br/ <br/ Had some Spring Rolls which were awesome and the Boneless Chicken Thigh with Fried Rice which was alright, nothing special.
Lim Kee…if you ever went to David Thompson High School, you’re sure to have had lunch at least once from this restaurant. Very busy during lunch, the two most popular items are the Deep Fried Chicken With Rice (mini) w/drink and the House Special Noodles
