Contribuiți la feedbackThe restaurant has a very relaxed atmosphere, but the food is delicious and the prices are very reasonable. The service is also excellent. I highly recommend trying the Green Leaf roll and the Gomae salad. They also have a special offer of 3 rolls and a miso soup for $6.95, which is very satisfying.
This has been my go-to sushi spot for a few years now. I keep coming back because they offer the best quality three-item combo in Vancouver. There are imitators on Commercial Drive now, but they don't match the quality here. It's not on the same level as Kishimoto, but for $7, you can't go wrong with a very filling meal. I do wish they made more of an effort to recognize me, considering how many times I've been there, but overall, the service is decent - quick and efficient.
Kojima is the best value sushi spot in Vancouver. I frequented this restaurant from Aug 2012 to Aug 2013, dining here every 3 days because the prices were comparable to cooking at home and I absolutely love their sushi. The staff is friendly and always remembered my usual $6.25 (now $6.75) sushi special order, as well as my preferences for Box A. While the sushi may not be extraordinary, it is tasty and you won't find a better deal in Vancouver. I highly recommend trying the alaska combo as well. Unfortunately, I will not be able to visit as frequently now that I am moving away, but Kojima will always hold a special place in my heart and stomach.
Best quality/price sushi around. They have really good rice, but they have limited selection and ok fish. Still, if you are looking to have the best sushi money can buy, this is the place.
For the past two years, my family has consistently chosen this sushi restaurant as our favorite spot. The two regular waitresses we see during our Sunday lunches have become familiar faces to us, and we enjoy chatting with them as they already know our orders by heart. The prices are reasonable and the sushi is absolutely delicious! My personal favorite is the mango roll, while my parents always opt for the Bento Box A. The restaurant itself is clean and has a nice aesthetic. Although I typically like to keep special places to myself, this hidden gem definitely deserves some recognition.
