Contribuiți la feedbackThis place is open until 3pm on Saturdays so my wife and I went in for dinner. We were going to have dosas but the menu has a lot more options. The staff had assured us that the lamb and beef was halal so I had the lamb Biryani and my wife has the beef kottu. Both were better than I had expected. The mango lassi wasn't bad either. The staff was very friendly and didn't really give us much to worry about. I'd definitely go again.
Over from London visiting family and came here on a Monday night where they have a cheap Dosa night. As a party of 9, had to wait 15 mins for a table and had to split the party over two tables but was fine as quite a small intimate place. Ordered a variety of Dosas and Cauliflower 65. The Dosas arrived within 15 mins and we were not disappointed as the Impressive Dosas came out on large plates served with the coconut chutney, masala and lentil sambal. Absolutely delicious, thin, crispy, light Dosa with a combination of savoury fillings. Cauliflower pakoras were very good also, served with a spicy tomato sauce. Dosas were so good, the kids ordered more. Place had a chaotic vibe but considering the value for money the queue was constantly growing. Waiting staff were gracious and lovely and very attentive. Would highly recommend as these Dosas are as good as any I have had in London including my own homemade ones!Total bill for 9 people including beers, soft drinks and enough Dosas to sink a battleship, $90That is ridiculous!
Needed to get my fix of Dosas, we went there at about 9pm at night. Parking on the street was easy. The restaurant is located at Kingsway and at the crossroad of Knight. We order dosas with meat - the dosas were nice and crispy, taste was good however not enough meat in the mixture. It was more potatoes. For the price that they charge, they need to put more meat in the mixture. My daughter did not like dosa, she had the Butter Chicken. At $15, rice was included. She ordered a side of roti to go with it. Their roti is not like the Punjabi kind of roti. The roti was more like a Paratha. Their roti was pretty good. On Monday night, they have a special where all Dosa is $5.99 - that might be worth going. Service was good, water refill was good.
On the eve of Canada's 150th birthday, we went looking for dosas in Vancouver, and found this gem. The quality of food and service levels are off the charts. All the staff members are so warm and attentive. We went back for lunch the next day, and left the city wishing we could try all the other items on the menu.
Great place to indulge in dosas and other Dishes. Many varieties of Dosas..Real huge size and served quickly and hot. Their Biryanis are also delicious.
