Firecrust - Davie - Vancouver

We were looking for a place to have wine and pizza downtown. Davie Street was a 10 minute walk for us from downtown but the area was pretty and we enjoyed looking at the buildings. The best part is when we got here it was exactly what we wanted. They make your pizza right in front of you with fresh ingredients and then pop it into a brink oven. The house wines - both white and red - were good. They also have beer. We sat on an open air patio off of the main dining room which is on a busy street but added to the fun by enabling people watching while we visited. The staff and the customers were all friendly.

We stopped in here ..concept was good. You can build your own pizza. So we. Picked. Our ingredients plus a salad (not a build your own, one of their standards. The pizza was ok..filled the need for a bite to eat. The salad was awful..the greens were wilted and. Brown, and this comprised the majority of the salad. They need to make sure. The ingredients are fresh.or it will not make it.

We visited for dinner on a Friday late afternoon and found the place already packed! The menu is just the right amount of choices, enough variety but not overwhelming! Pizza -AND more- salad, soup, wine and desert, and more!! As a vegetarian I often struggle with dining out - but not here - lots of variety!! There is plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, clean and stylish, and the staff are friendly and service is prompt!We found our new eat in/take out choice - open late and healthy!!

Grabbed a takeaway from here after a long day out - very impressed. Quick service, excellent vegetarian/vegan options and in the words of my daughter 'best salad ever'. The shop was clean and tidy. Staff very helpful.

My husband and I went here last night, and it won't be our last! They have build your own pizza with SO many options for toppings AND vegan options! This may be my new fav spot.
