Edelweiss Cafe Express - Vancouver

I came across this wonderful family owned place about 1.5 year ago, and now come here about twice a week (sometimes more). The owners are amazing. Such nice people. And they work so hard and treat their staff so well! Everyday they will make you a fresh sandwich along with their homemade soup. I can relax and watch the news and read the paper or whatever I want. We need more places like this.

We stopped by Edelweiss Deli Express for breakfast on a Sunday morning before we boarded our cruise ship. It was conveniently located just down the street, only a block or so away, from our hotel. We were very pleased with our choice.The breakfast was very god, well-prepared and tasty, and the price was right and inexpensive. Service, from the apparent owner-manager, was excellent and he was very welcoming and hospitable. The place doesn't look like much from outside, but you would be disappointed if you just walked on by. Don't - stop and stay for a good meal and great hospitality.The only downside, which was really insignificant and probably a symptom of a small business, was that the Edelweiss does not take credit cards. No big deal, but just to forewarn anyone.

Nice breakfast, freshly prepared, with good coffee and friendly service. The two staff (the owners?) were very hard working. Definitely going back.

Passamos por aqui por acaso, procurando algum lugar p comer. Foi uma surpresa otima!!! O lugar é comandado pelos donos, um casal de asiáticos, creio eu coreanos, pela foto do Gamgam Style na parede! Rsrsrsrs casal muito simpatico, o marido fala mais ingles e entende que a esposa. Ela que faz os lanches. Bancadas muito limpas e comida fresquinha. Pedimos uma omelete com torradas e a omelete estava deliciosa!!!

This small cafe served a good breakfast for a reasonable price. It was good, fast service and the staff were very friendly and nice.
