What a great cafe!! The breakfast sandwich was outstanding, the coffee amazing and the service was great! It’s been our third time at Dose on our way to the coast from Calgary…we’ll done Dose Cafe!

I visited this café in my ongoing quest for excellent espresso, but I found it to be just mediocre. They use beans from Origins roaster on Granville Island, which delivered a blend of flavors—classic cocoa notes, earthy, tart, and with a hint of burnt bitterness. The décor feels somewhat incomplete; it’s a small space that doesn’t invite you to linger, and it's cluttered with a large table taking up too much room. The main clientele seems to be the office crowd, who might overlook these shortcomings. However, if you’re in search of a truly great espresso or a cozy place to enjoy your coffee, there are definitely better options nearby.
