Caffe Mangia Pizzeria - Vancouver

I came here for lunch with a business colleague and had the DiFluri's Arugula Prosciutto. Crust was fine put it really lacked in flavour. Maybe it's meant to be a very flavourless pizza. I wouldn't order it again.

Went for lnch at 11:30 and a good thing we did as by 12:00 all seats were full. Friendly service good value for the price. Tried the Margarita and the Meat Eater Pizzas and the three bean Minestrone. The soup was delicious. Both were perfect lunch size. Great flavours, decent amount of toppings. Its in a light industrial/Tech area so popular with area business employees. We will be back.

Meeting our son for lunch in the Broadway area and feeling like pizza, this place came up. Our son had never been there before. Place is an old house converted to a restaurant and has good comfy feel. We ordered the individual size Mangia Pollo and Eddie’s Meat Monster (I was embarrassed to order this in front of my Vegetarian son, but the title does not mean the meat toppings are over the top). Both pizzas were delicious with thin chewy crusts, great sauce and cheese and the right amount of toppings. Great for a lunch if you are in a hurry.

This restaurant has real authentic Italian food. The music playing was the most popular in Italy, such as Lunapop and Tiziano. The olive they serve is the best one (people who appreciate olive oil need to try bread with olive oil). Arancini was perfect!The Carbonara was terrific, I cannot describe how much I loved it, and it is the authentic one; the pancetta was excellent! Andfor dessert, I ordered the Canolo, the best one I have ever eaten in my life. I have water in my mouth now, remembering allthese foods: Grazie tanti Bruno, Alessandro e Vicenzo per proporzionare la esperienza “di essere” in Italia.

My wife and I came this evening on a whim. Have been wanting to try this place since a colleague told me about it. Wow! I was very impressed and so was my wife. The food is exquisite and the service is outstanding. We had the octopus appetizer withpotato salad. So perfectly cooked and seasoned. My wife had the crab and lobster ravioli and I had the salmon spaghetti forour mains. Again utterly flawless. We topped it off with tiramisu and cannoli. Both superb! Can not think of a single thingthat was less than perfect. Will be back again.
