Took the highly recommendations of locals and the high positive reviews and choose this place for my 2nd Anniversary dinner celebration.

This place is truly mediocre! The food is not much better than you might expect from a high-end chain and when you figure in the exorbitant price it ends

Our meal at Blue Water Cafe was incredible. The food was beyond any expectation. Our waiter, Christoff, made the dinner a wonderful experience. If we didn't have reservations the following night, we would have returned. We had the seafood tasting for two as our starter. We didn't think it could be matched. We were proved wrong. I love scallops and the dinner scallops were outstanding. My daughter had the Char. It had the most perfectly done skin and the leek and crab base was delicious. Amazing food, and equally amazing service. Thank you, Christoff!

Blue Water has always been one of my very favourite restaurants in Vancouver, and our latest visit did not disappoint. Best sushi and sashimi in the city, and if you get a chance to sit at the sushi bar it is always fun to watch the masters at work. I always tend towards seafood here (it is too good and fresh to pass up! , but my companions have tried other dishes such as wagyu and other steaks, and every dish is always of the highest quality. There really is something for everyone here. The wine list is varied and extensive, as is the spirit list, and there are a few decent non-alcohol options as well. We will definitely continue to be loyal patrons.Kid-friendliness: We have dined with our young children several times and always have a good time and excellent meal. Our children love seafood and sushi so that helps! They do have off-menu options for kids (the usual stuff , though we never order those so I can 't speak to them.
