Bean Around the World - Vancouver

Location : Thunderbird boulevard, University of British Columbia, Vancouver <br/ <br/ Ambience : Small café but very welcoming servers <br/ Food : The hot chocolate here is too good. The veggie wrap served with jam and carrot cake is worth trying ! The veggie soup( basically lentil soup is also good but not amazing !<br/ <br/ Price is decent !<br/ <br/ *Best place to take afternoon break in UBC.

Stopped by for a relaxing coffee with friends. UBC crowd gathering together and loners working on their laptops (with a two hour limit)

I meet my friends for coffee at this shop. Its not their fault but the design of the coffee shop translate to a very noisy place - hard for older people to hear. The seats are comfortable. The cups are nice and big - even if the service is a bit slow. There is an outdoor patio which has very few chairs but permits dogs. Also, there is a green space around most of the restaurant where you and your dog can warm in the sun. There have gluten free snacks which are delicious.

Nice cafeteria, attentive staff, good food. The best place for a break at UBC Vancouver. And. they serve beer!
