We visited last Saturday before a Canucks game and Saturday before the Bryan Adams concert. Although it was exceptionally busy, the front mockers smiled, quiet and super inviting. Serving staff was very human and we had several people on us during our meal, including the Manger Albert (which is a rock star) and the Restaurant Supervisor. The food was also great and very fast served! If you are looking for a place to go before or after an event nearby, I would definitely recommend BC Kitchen. However, if it is before and event, I would also recommend reservations as it is a popular place. Thanks for the extraordinary service during our last couple visits! We look forward to coming back soon!
I attended a concert and thought I would try BC Kitchen. Great disappointment. I had served the Prime Rib (house smoked Prime Rib served with crispy potatoes, mixed vegetables, au jus yorkshire pudding) and a happy hour glass of wine. The best part of the whole meal was the wine and au jus. The main rib was sufficient, the crispy potato was not crispy, the mixed vegetables consisted of 3 pieces of extremely hard broccoli and the Yorkshire pudding was disgusting. I ordered a second glass of wine so I could swallow the food that lasted 15 minutes to arrive. At that time I had finished my disgusting dinner. Of course I won't come back soon. Save your money and eat at McDonald's. After my review, the manager Albert stopped) and we discussed my concerns with my meal and at the end made it right. He'll talk to the kitchen and give me a nice glass of wine. Thank you. Albert, that I took the time to deal with my concerns.
Nice concert spot. Service was pleasant. Food was decent, but not as good as an Earls or Cactus. Beautiful ambience, basically a beautiful sports bar in a casino. Would there be 3.5 if I could. Would come back, but no destination for me.
I was looking for a new place to try at the door and I took this place. Decided to taste two pretty safe items that are hard to screw, pizza and wings.... They were both shockingly bad. Somehow the wings were half well cooked and half soggy and rough. The pizza was disgusting. Every piece I picked up, the front half of the piece just went to the ground and the beats were basically not existent. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone....
Went in after a Lions game and found the service to be great and quick which was surprising. Quality was good too. Also, with tickets, get a discount on your order on GameDay. That was a nice bonus. Typical bar good with a few unique dishes but the burger might be the sneaky best downtown I've had. Great flavour. We'll go back. Open early and late!
