A&W Restaurant - Vancouver

So we stopped by for a root beer float and fries, but the place was so dirty, unfriendly and unkept inside that we walked in and walked out. Major Big disappointment!!!!!

Canada's alternative to MCD (they do have both tho) was solid. It served its purpose which was to feed us when we couldnt find Japadog. I do like that they promote using animals that have not been pumped up with hormones etc and they do produce a solid fast food product.

The A&W is different from the United States. They do have great food as standard with any A&W. Quick bite to eat and you move on.

Don't want to pay ove $15 for breakfast and coffee at while spot or ihop? Try any a&w!!! With their frequent coupons, bacon, two fresh cooked eggs, toast with jam etc and the best fast food hashbrown going will cost you $5.99!! Oh and it is served on a real plate with real cutlery. Go get it!!!

So many people stole the traditional heavy glass mugs in the U.S., you can hardly find the heavy glass frosted mugs there. They have a plastic version. This place had the mugs I remember while growing up. I had just come from lunch, so I was not ready for anything else, but while there, I was reading their signs about the quality of life that the cattle (for the hamburger) have and the promise of no antibiotics for cattle or chicken. Their meat is of a very high standard. I will definitely eat a sandwich there next time. This place also has free WiFi. Many people were taking advantage of that.
