Alouette Bistro - Vancouver

Went for dine out vancouver and the menu selection were so good. service was brilliant and eating delicious. weeping was on the square. I can't wait to go back. great value for money.

The burger was extremely dry, consisting mainly of a patty and a bun, while the fries were hard and not freshly made. I could have easily gotten a better burger at a fast-food place. The escargots were unlike the traditional French version; the serving was small and lacked the usual garlic butter and parsley, replaced instead with a panko crust. The French onion soup was disappointing as well, especially when compared to other French restaurants in the city. Overall, the quality of the food was lacking and left me feeling quite dissatisfied.

Great hotel restaurant. The recent refocus on French cuisine better fits the property. Well done.

The atmosphere was nice, service was very good but the food was catastrophe.. we took a duck but the combination beans and bacon was disgusting and how it looked .. nothing from French gourmet
