Adelitas - Vancouver

Adelitas has fresh Mexican food. The food is great, and there are house made sauces. It is located on the same premises of El Caracol Mexican Cafe; you can decide for yourself which you like better.

My husband and I stopped in on a whim and were very happy with the service and the food. I would say they serve authentic mexican food, not Tex-Mex or Cal-Mex.  It is a refreshing change. We will be back and as we live in the area we can walk there

I am definitely going back and bringing more friends to this delicious spot. My wife and I loved everything about it. Worth it and buy the hot sauce.

There was alot of mixed reviews here. I took a shot at it. Since I wad passing by with my dog and girlfriend, we decided to sit on the patio with shade. Good start. I noticed a taco special on their board, I got it with pork. Then my girlfriend ordered the chimichanga and pulled pork fajitas. The rice is fluffy with bite, all dente... Perfect. The refried beans, wonderful acidity. Tacos were a touch dry but that's ok, I fell in love with the spicy tomatio condiment and kept loading that onto the taco. Loved the spice. The chimichanga was the highlight. Soft, fluffy, fresh, aromatic, lovely comforting flavors. The fajitas were vibrant in flavors. Overall we had a great experience. The service from our lady, perhaps the owner, incredible. Very accomodating. I would come back again.<br/ <br/

When we entered the restaurant, we were thrilled to see a family of Mexican patrons conversing in Spanish and enjoying the remainder of their meal. This sight furthered our optimism for a truly authentic dining experience. We were seeking genuine Mexican cuisine, not fast food or Tex-Mex, and this restaurant delivered exactly that.
