During my visit, I highly recommend the cappuccino and the veggie breakfast burrito. I came here nearly every day of my trip, and the owners were very friendly and community-oriented. They offer fantastic products at truly excellent prices!

Unfortunately, Far Out has discontinued their amazing cookies, and when I called to inquire about them, the woman I spoke with was surprisingly rude. What a letdown for cookie enthusiasts in Vancouver! (I’m half joking, but still a bit serious.) On a positive note, their coffee has seen a remarkable improvement; I enjoyed an excellent cappuccino today, served in one of the prettiest ceramic mugs I’ve encountered in a coffee shop. I’ll definitely return for the coffee! The large table is ideal for working, and the nice greenery adds to the ambiance. However, the pinball machines are incredibly bothersome. They are so loud that every pause in play feels like a moment of sweet relief, but then another game starts and I can't help but grumble aloud. Maybe they could consider lowering the volume? If I decide to work here again, I’ll definitely bring noise-canceling headphones. It shouldn’t have to come to that, but unfortunately, it does. This is the sole reason my rating has decreased.

The café has a spacious communal table that's ideal for working on big projects and a great opportunity to connect with new people. Although the menu is somewhat limited, it includes a standard array of drinks you would find at most coffee shops. A fun addition is the mini arcade at the back; I had a blast playing a few rounds of AC/DC pinball while enjoying my London Fog. The prices are very reasonable and quite budget-friendly.

I had a dream that a coffee bar would open up on this corner, and it actually came true! This isn’t just any café; it’s a delightful, genuine place that truly honors coffee. I suspect this friendly little spot will quickly become a neighborhood favorite. They offer Origins coffee, along with sweet treats from East Village Bakery and Black Rook Bakehouse, both just a short walk away. There are even gluten-free options available. With a great sense of local pride and an East Van vibe, the atmosphere here is absolutely ideal.
