Mila - Vancouver

We had the karaage bao, hummus pita, arancini, mila roll, and dan dan noodles. The food was awesome! Definitely will return when in Vancouver again. If you like spicy the dan dan noodles hit the spot, but pick another dish if you don't like spicy hot. Our server Roberto was professional and friendly.

This quickly made it to my top 3 favourite restaurants in Vancouver. Everything is so decadent, drool-worthy, flavour bombs!Portions are generous! We ordered starter and main, and left the restaurant feeling reeeally full. We wanted to try a dessert, but unfortunately there was no space left in our bellies ?The place is really aesthetic too, really nice decor.If you want to introduce a non-vegan person to vegan food, this is a great place to take them and impress.Vegetarian options: Everything is vegan.

The food was mostly delicious. We were there with a group of 9 folks, and the service was not great. The drinks came after the food arrived, we were only offered one round of drinks, and in one of the meals, the prep was not complete as the stems were still on the vegetables. Just serving strategy wise the entries and starters were all brought out at the same time which left a cramped table.

I had been a few times before and liked the place, but this visit was a huge let down for our group. Food this time was not good, especially the gnocchi. It was busy, so I understand that service would be impeded by this. A couple order items were forgotten, and no one was coming over to ask about more drinks.

My partner and I stopped in this evening and had the most wonderful dinner. The ambiance was excellent, with just the right amount of soft lighting and not-too-loud music. Perfect for conversation. All of the staff, especially our waitress, were incredibly sweet and did not feel overbearing at all. We felt very at ease. The whole experience was so nice that it felt like the food was just a bonus.. but a BIG bonus. As gluten free eaters, it 's often hard to find places with many options but Mila had too many! We had a hard time deciding!!The food and the drink we got were so high quality for a very reasonable price. The karaage tofu that came with the Caesar salad is officially my desert island food because I could eat that every day for the rest of my life.10/10 will be back!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options!
