The Café - Valley Center

We ordered quickly, and after about 15 to 20 minutes, our food finally arrived, but we were then told that the dining area was closing and we had to finish in 10 minutes. We rushed through our meals, but were left dissatisfied with the taste and quality. The turkey, avocado, and bacon sandwich featured a large hunk of hard avocado in the middle, soggy bacon, and standard deli turkey that made the sandwich overly salty. The fries were soggy on all plates. The burger was greasy and overcooked, lacking in flavor. The fish and chips were bland and unremarkable, and the coleslaw was disappointing as well. Overall, the customer service and food quality do not justify the trip or the expense.

We came for a late lunch and were seated immediately. My husband ordered a Reuben sandwich, while I chose the garlic shrimp pasta. The food was surprisingly delicious, the portions were generous, and the service was excellent.

I had a craving for Casino Steak and Eggs, so I decided to take my dad to this restaurant. I ordered the steak and eggs, which came with an 8 oz NY steak, hash browns, two eggs over easy, and a slice of bread. My dad went for the Salisbury steak, which included a burger patty, potatoes, zucchini, carrots, and mushroom gravy. Both dishes were fantastic, and we really enjoyed every bite!

8/2/2022 3 stars I give additional star coz no problem at our last visit, not sure if they still calculate when order goes. 4/14/2021 2 stars Finally we can order, but they calculate, add 1 star on this. Only came back, but still low on Star Coz, politics still the same, but food is good. Fixed a picture for more information . We will continue to try on the next visit, then will add more star when they earn it.. I tried to eat here again, and I ask if they change their policy to go to box, they said the same, Big NO for take out, so we decided to ate in Chinese food next door. Will try to visit again, hopefully their political change in the near future. 2018 1 star You can not order to go but you can immerse and after you are able to go. Hate it.

Loved the fries here, seasoned very well. I ordered the shirmp fish plate, which was served hot fresh. Both was delicious but I loved the shrimp better than the fish. Hubby got the meatloaf but he didnt care for it...he thought it would be more homemade but instead if was like processed food. Service was great too, nice friendly staff working on a busy Friday night...never had our drinks empty, also checkin on us to see if we needed anything.
