Charlie's Family - Escondido

My company provided a Uber Eats credit so I decided to try Charlie’s. I had the club sandwich. Four layers of turkey and plenty of bacon on rye bread (other choices available). Lightly toasted per request. Plenty of thick cut french fries that were perfect. I ordered a bowl of chili as well. Excellent! Large chunks of beef with shredded cheese and chopped onions on the side. My vanilla shake was tasty too! Fast and very friendly service. This was a pick up and at noon, I was lucky to get a parking spot. No wonder because the food is delicious. Thanks for a great meal. I’ll be back.

The service was great food came in a timely manner. Would recommend this is your up for some southern style breakfast.

Old tyme diner feel. I found it cozy and friendly. Good food with reasonably priced dishes.When I 'm not sure what I want CHARLIE 'S is my ' Go To ' place. From breakfast and delicious sandwiches to Hot plate meals, etc. Pretty much anything you want can be found here. My waitress CECILIA was the Best. Friendly, accommodating, efficient, caring. Made the whole meal perfect. I know I 'll be going back many more times. A real hidden gem in the craziness of Escondido.

Charlie's Family restaurant was to accommodate our large family of 10 with no problems. Everyone loved there homemade pies!

I would go back there over and over if I lived closer. Things that I liked the most about Charlie's is the people. The breakfast food was really good. Homemade salsa and fast service were also really nice. Again, the friendly service along with home-style menu items makes Charlie's an overall great choice.
