Jolene's Wings Beer - Valencia

We decided to give this restaurant a try, and it turns out it’s essentially a Lazy Dog. Everything here is ordered, cooked, and picked up at the restaurant, with all the bags clearly labeled as Lazy Dog. The wings were a decent size, and the variety of sauces looked promising, but that’s where the experience fell short. We ordered the Kung Pao wings with spicy maple dipping sauce and the Sweet Chili wings with Nashville Hot Ranch. Unfortunately, the sauce on the wings was barely noticeable, and the dipping sauces were disappointing as well. The Nashville Hot Ranch tasted just like regular ranch dressing, and the spicy maple syrup resembled the usual Lazy Dog breakfast syrup. After finishing the wings, we both agreed that they were just mediocre, nothing to write home about. If you’re seeking an experience similar to Buffalo Wild Wings or Wingstop, this place doesn’t quite measure up.

The garlic Parmesan wings were a good size and quite flavorful, but I found them a bit too creamy and rich for my taste. I paired them with Nashville hot ranch for dipping, which was mild in flavor—mostly tasting like ranch. The Nashville hot wings were delicious and had just the right amount of spice. I dipped them in spicy maple sauce, which tasted more sweet than spicy, but it complemented the wings well. Now, about the Kung Pao wings: they were my absolute favorite! The flavor was incredible, and I loved the addition of peanuts in the sauce, which added a delightful crunch. The sauce was perfectly balanced in sweetness, and the umami dipping sauce I chose was a great match, offering a nice kick. By the way, the wings are quite large. I have a big appetite, and 10 wings were more than enough for me! During my first visit, I could only manage to eat about 5 or 6 since I also ordered a side. Overall, I highly recommend this place!

I ordered through Postmates and tried all the different types of wings, and I must say, everything was fantastic. The meat was incredibly tender, perfectly cooked without being over or underdone. The garlic Parmesan wings were definitely the highlight. I hadn't planned on writing a review at first, but after seeing the ratings, I felt compelled to share my experience because everything was truly excellent!

If you want to have a letdown during your meal, go ahead and order this.

The best wings in Santa Clarita Valley! They are a great size, too; the only time you might receive smaller wings is if they’ve had to substitute due to a supply issue. The quality you get is definitely worth the price. Treat yourself and try the sweet chili wings with the spicy maple sauce—it’ll be a game changer. These wings are also perfect for delivery; they always arrive quickly and piping hot!
