Rifugio Val Fraele - VALDIDENTRO

Descending from Passo Trella to Boromir, we found this an excellent place for lunch. Good food and an excellent view to mountains surrounding the reservoir.

We stopped here after ascending from Bormio and prior to going round the Lake Concano. Service is pleasant but you must order from the bar inside rather than the outside tables. The menu is very simple with a couple of pastas on offer meat or vegetarian.

Ottimo posto per fermarsi a mangiare dopo un tour dei laghi del cancano, fattibile dopo agosto in auto, migliore fuoristrada.

Posto tra i due laghi cancano, ottimo per rompere il sentiero. cibo nella media, porzioni forse inadeguate al prezzo rispetto ad altri rifugi. personale molto cortese.

Nice place and decent food. Don’t expect amazing dishes, but the location is cozy and friendly staff. The price is fair. Anyway the view of the lake is top.
