Mat Fraan Koeket - Vadstena

The Old Patisserie is a quaint, traditional bakery situated in the heart of charming Vadstena. In addition to their selection of classic pastries, they also offer light lunch options. Guests have the choice of dining indoors or al fresco, with a few tables available along the main street. We opted for a few lunch items, which were delicious and beautifully presented.

We pre-ordered some pastries. We wanted the best in town and that is Skottavlor. That is something that you only eat in Vadstena. They are so good, and I remember having them when I was a kid. We got them served outside in the garden. The service was good and the pastries astonishing.

This restaurant in Vadstena is a must-visit for lunch or coffee. We went there three days in a row and enjoyed a delicious lunch with warm sandwiches and pastries. I especially loved the blueberry pie with vanilla sauce, which was the best pie I've had in a long time. The Skottavla is also a must-try dish that I've enjoyed since I was a child. The only downside was the mediocre service, with no smiles or real interest in serving us. It's unfortunate because I have enjoyed this place in the past.

More beautiful place, but eating can be a bit uneven i my opinion. today, wallenbergare and smoky salmon were both wonderful. suppe is served daily as an appetizer and is always my favorite. today was fish and lobster broth amazing. place crippled so that reservations usually need end of the week. some time short time slot to finish lunch.
