Le Provencal - Uzès

This place offers them the best lunch with an excellent plate du jour all days except sundays and Mondays. and not to forget at the best price. they will not be disappointed

I was eating here yesterday and I liked it. the salat was huge and fresh and the service was friendly and efficient. we sat outside under huge sunshades to protect against the sun. I would recommend this place for future traveling.

The food is average. Service is good. Nothing extraordinary to mention except the roof top terrace provides a good view of the town weather permitting. This time it was winter and we ate in the dinning room.

This restaurant/bar only has tables for eating outside under a parasol or the much pruned plane trees. Not many tables either we arrived after 12 on a sunny September weekday and were just squeezed in. Lots of local workers have their lunch here, from the...bank next door or builders or shop owners, because it is great generous food served quickly and really good value. We usually have one of the soup dishes full of salad and fried potatoes but my husband had a daily special last time, which was pasta with creamy sauce and courgettes and it was delicious (I had a forkful and was jealous). With a small carafe of wine and some water you have change from E30 and just want to sleep. I'm guessing on fine days in autumn and winter they also serve lunch but can't confirm it.

We love to site on the sidewalk facing the church across the street. They let you bring a croissant from the bakery on the other side of the square. Coffee is fabulous! Alex and Fabian are always so friendly. Love to see them on every...visit to Uzes!
