The right work. suppe, thunfish and salat, truthahn with flag beans, cheese, actually choice of desserts. all served immediately and hot. red bottle on the table. for 14 euro, what could you ask more? many “workers” also have lunch .is parking directly opposite their vans.
A lovely restaurant, providing a tasty lunch and at 13 euro including a cheese and coffee what more could you want. Convenient parking opposite and a lovely stroll to the local Dolmen and also along the old railway track towards Uzerche, Dogs welcome.
We decided to go to le dolmen and loved it...so will you... We were lucky as there were seven of us and managed to get a table at 12.30pm book if there are a few of you to avoid dissappointment) There is a large...car park opposite and you go up a few steps to get to the entrance, inside there is only one waitress a great old French lady who does everything apart from the cooking. The restaurant is a part of unspoilt old France no frills just great food.. We had the plat du jour which was a gut busting 5 courses including table wine and endless bread! First we were served soup, then a salad, then pork in cream sauce, then a huge cheese board, and finally an Apple tart for desert all for under 15 euros! This place is a gem and not to be missed
Yet another visit to enjoy the superb value Lunch. Well under €20 p/p. This visit encompassed Soup, Salad, Pork Chop with Cabbage, Cheese and Pudding with wine. A different main course on every visit. Massive choice of high-quality cheeses. Ile Flottant to die for. Charming...service in a delightfully airy dining room. Immensely popular and deservedly so with a wide variety of clientele. France at it's best perhaps.
