Cafe Yeomans - Uttlesford

Waited at least 45 mins for food. It wasn't busy. Ordered steak sandwich. It came with chips. Just 2 pieces of meat on a buttered baguette and a few measly onions. No garnish or salad or sauce. Meat was pink and oozing. I wasn't asked how I would like it cooked. Waitress took it away and brought it mack exactly the same. Very disappointed . coffee was very nice

On arrival seated quickly and given menus Ordered two coffees, tea cake and a croissant. The coffees arrived in an acceptable time and we expected the food to arrive shortly after. 20 mins later and after asking how long would it be) we received a warm croissant and a anaemic looking tea cake, maybe the toaster was broken but not worth the £3.90 for the croissant or £4.15 for the tea cake. By the time the food arrived the coffee that was left was cold. Left half the tea cake.

Been coming here for years. Used to live close, now we travel to come here. Nice balance between consistency and efficiency. Always high quality and value for money. We’ll see you soon!

We love this place. Yummy food and wonderful staff. They couldn't be more helpful to my hubby who has food intolerances. Also, our beautiful rescue dog is welcomed and is served a bowl of water. Could not recommend this super cafe highly enough.

Delicious lunch and great services, all really friendly and helpful. Hummus toasted ciabatta and salad garnish mmmm highly recommend
