Los Gueritos Tacos - Urbandale

I have been a longtime patron of this restaurant, but recently discovered that they have been adding a 4% surcharge to my bill without informing me. I am unsure how long this has been happening or how much money I have unknowingly paid due to this practice. Many of my transactions were paid in cash, making it even more disconcerting. It is unacceptable for a trusted establishment to engage in such deceptive practices. Customers should be made aware of any additional charges so they can make an informed decision on their method of payment. (For reference, credit card companies typically charge businesses 1.5% to 3.5% for processing fees). It is disappointing that a successful business would take advantage of their customers in this way. I will not be returning to this restaurant and will seek out better dining options in the area.

The food at this restaurant is great and I really enjoy their hot sauce. However, I struggle with the crispy shells as I have difficulty chewing without teeth.

Oh no... what used to be the best tacos are no longer up to par. We were really excited to have them but unfortunately, the shells were stale and tough, the meat portion was minimal, the lettuce had been replaced with cabbage, and the hot sauce tasted burnt. It seems like they have changed ownership. Such a letdown! The image on the left is what we were expecting, but our tacos looked nothing like it.
