Athough part of a big chain the hotel feels quite intimate. The reception staff are polite and helpful and spoke English very well (far better than my Swedish) the room although quite small was very clean ,smart and functional with the added bonus of a balcony. Despite the hotel being located opposite the train station, the room was peaceful and quiet. It is also a couple of minutes walk from the shops and restaurants and the beautiful river and Castle.

Easy access from Uppsala central station 1 min walk. Clean rooms, decent breakfast spread and super friendly and helpful staff. The Picnic bar area have amazing staff that are really friendly and the do a good shrimp sandwich
